¼ c. agave nectar
2 Tb. Cider vinegar
1 ¼ tsp lemon juice
½ tsp. Paprika
½ tsp ground mustard
½ grated onion
¼ tsp celery seed
Dash of salt
1/3 c. vegetable oil
8 cups torn mixed salad greens
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges, drained
1 medium sweet onion, sliced into rings
1/3 c. slivered almonds or walnuts
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, if desired
Combine the first 8 ingredients, whisk in oil. Cover and refrigerate until serving. In a salad bowl, combine the greens, strawberries, oranges, onion, almonds and bacon. Drizzle with dressing and gently toss to coat.
