Pretzel Jell-O Salad


1st Layer:
1 sm. Pkg. Pretzels, crushed
1 cube butter or margarine, melted
3 Tb. Sugar

Combine in 9x13 inch pan.  Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. 

2nd Layer:
8 oz. Cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 small container of Cool Whip
1 can crushed pineapple, drained

Combine cream cheese and sugar, fold in Cool Whip.  Spread mixture over cooled 1st layer.  Spread pineapple over mixture. 

3rd Layer:
6 oz. Pkg. Jello (cherry or strawberry)
2 c. hot water
1 ½ c. cold water

Dissolve Jello in hot water.  Add cold water and allow to partially set.  Top the second layer and chill.
