Spaghetti Sauce

1 lg. can diced tomatoes, undrained, purred in blender
1/3 c. white onion, chopped, sautéed with garlic in olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced, sautéed with onion in olive oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 Tb. Brown sugar
1 ½ tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp. dried thyme

Combine and simmer for 30 minutes.  Serve over pasta.
