Spicy Apple Syrup


1 cup unsweetened apple juice
1 Tb cornstarch
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1-2 Tb honey, optional

Using a wire whisk, stir cornstarch and spices into cold juice.  Bring to a boil.  Stir until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.  Makes 1 cup.
